Rachel Ann McAdams was born in the Canadian city of London, Ontario on November 17, 1978. Her mother is a nurse by profession, and her father worked as a truck driver, she also has younger brothers and sister - Daniel and Kailin. Her first hobby was figure skating, which she had been doing since the age of four, then she preferred acting: she played on the stage several times in the summer theater camp, received an award for participating in the school play "I live in a small town", and reaching a certain age, entered the drama department at York University in Toronto, who graduated with honors and received a bachelor's degree.
