Vyacheslav Mikhailovich Kotenochkin is not just a director, animator and animator. This is a whole world that taught Soviet children not only common truths and morals, but some cunning, enterprise. Thanks to him, the world received unique heroes with character, albeit funny, but goals.
Biography of Vyacheslav Kotenochkin
The future unique animator was born in 1927. The boy grew up in a difficult time for the country, lost his father early, and the Kremlin tree was the brightest childhood impression, where little Slava first saw the animated film. The impression was so vivid that he could no longer think about anything and firmly decided to find out how such films are made, to learn this art and to make animated films himself.
But fate decreed otherwise. The war has begun. Glory graduated from a specialized school of artillerymen, then entered the tank school. But all this time he "drunkenly" painted. Cartoons were his only serious hobby and even passion. As a result, in 1947, Vyacheslav Kotenochkin graduated from animator courses and began working as an artist at the Soyuzmultfilm studio.
Creativity in the life of Vyacheslav Kotenochkin
The career of Vyacheslav Mikhailovich simply cannot be called a career. Animation was his life. Very quickly, a cartoonist "grew up" from a cartoonist with a funny name Kotenochkin, and in 1962 Vyacheslav became a director and began to shoot his own animated films. His filmography includes not only cartoons - he shot satirical stories for The Wick, played the role of a ferryman in the film No Return (1973), and wrote scripts.
But the real fame Kotenochkin brought exactly cartoons:
- "Got that biting,"
- "Frog traveler",
- Bathhouse
- "On the forest trail" and others.
The triumph of Vyacheslav Kotenochkin’s career was the animated series “Well, wait a minute.” His heroes were loved, quoted, and waited for the release of each new series, and there were a total of 20. It can be safely said that this is the first Soviet series, albeit in an animated version. Unfortunately, the last two series were no longer filmed by Kotenochkin, and viewers noted a significant difference.
