Summer heat is not an easy test for people, especially those living in such large cities as Moscow. Naturally, as soon as possible, the townspeople strive for water. However, not all beaches in Moscow are suitable for swimming. For example, this year the Moscow authorities allowed swimming in only seven out of eleven recreation areas. The remaining four zones - Troparevsky Pond, Big Garden Pond, Beach Club and Left Bank were recognized as dangerous to human health due to poor sanitary and hygienic condition of water and sand.

Environmentalists relate to pollution of water bodies much stricter than the Moscow authorities. They insist that swimming in the capital should not be done at all. In their opinion, only beaches in Serebryany Bor, which is located in the northwest of the metropolis, are more or less suitable for this purpose. There the water is in satisfactory condition. And in other places, its quality is much worse. It should be noted that even on the beaches of Serebryany Bor-2 and Serebryany Bor-3 it was temporarily forbidden to swim, and this ban was lifted only on July 19, 2012. What can we say about water in other areas!
Nevertheless, Muscovites and guests of the capital of Russia stubbornly continue to swim even where it cannot be done, not paying attention to the prohibition signs. They justify their behavior with a short and simple argument: "It's so hot!" Humanly, this is understandable, however, a desire to freshen up can bring great harm to health. For example, the same environmental organizations claim that you should never swim in such popular places as Troparevsky Pond, Big Garden Pond or Beach Club, even if you have permission from Rospotrebnadzor.
In the water near the Beach Club, the concentration of petroleum products often significantly exceeds the permissible values, and the concentration of E. coli in ponds is high. But a certain amount of water when swimming necessarily enters the oral cavity. And the consequences can be quite unpleasant.
In addition, the service on many beaches is poor. After all, people come there for a long time, not only to plunge into the water, but also to sunbathe, relax. And there are very few changing cabins, and the toilets are often in poor condition, as is the surrounding area.
