Early years, youth
Nikolai Ivanovich was born on July 26, 1912. The family was large, they lived in the village of Sergiev Gorky (Vladimir Region). His father was a peasant, but then he managed to become an assistant ship. The mother did the housework.
After the revolution, the head of the family became the director of the linen factory, but soon died. The children had to work hard, and the family rose to its feet again. However, during the time of dispossession, they suffered a new misfortune - their mother was sent to the North. Children began to live with relatives in Moscow and Perm.
Growing up, Nikolai went to the factory, becoming an armature, but he dreamed of working in the theater. He was accepted into the studio of the Moscow City Council Theater, discerning talent in the boy.
Creative biography
After studying, Parfyonov was taken to the troupe of the Mossovet Theater, where he worked for almost his whole life. Among the productions with his participation, the following can be distinguished: “Undergrowth”, “Masquerade”, “Brothers Karamazov”. He had only one main role - Mitrofanushka in The Young. Orlova Lyubov, Ranevskaya Faina, Plyatt Rostislav, Nikolay Mordvinov also worked in this troupe.
In 1944, Nicholas first starred in the film, his debut was the role in the film "Native Fields". Later there were filming in the film "To me, Mukhtar!", "Watch out for the car." All his characters became memorable.
In 1975, Parfyonov was invited to the shooting of the movie "Afonya". Later there were other films: "Sorcerers", "Evening Maze", "Live in Joy." He also participated in the filming of newsreels ("Wick", "Jumble").
To create images of ordinary people on stage, the actor visited the market in Cheryomushki. He simply watched the sellers and passersby, noting the character traits of each. Such observations have become a good school.
Parfyonov has always been in demand, although the role of a "domestic" actor has been assigned to him. His play in the episodes became unsurpassed, all his characters were natural.
Nikolai Ivanovich died on January 7, 1999 from a stroke. He was 87 years old.
