The Hermitage can be reached by the following public transport: Metro. You need to get to the station "Nevsky Prospekt" and climb through the exit of the metro station "Channel Griboedova. The State Hermitage Museum is open from 10:30 to 18:00 from Tuesday to Saturday and Sunday from 10:30 to 17:00. The museum is closed on Monday. It should be remembered that the box office closes an hour before the museum closes. Keep this in mind and plan your trip to the museum with this in mind. During school holidays, and especially in summer, there are large queues in the Hermitage, they move fast enough, but get ready for what you have to stand.

The cost of admission tickets is 400 rubles. For Russian citizens, a preferential price is set at 100 rubles. Citizens of Belarus can also take advantage of this benefit. You must be prepared to present your passport to prove citizenship. All children of preschool age, as well as pupils and students, regardless of citizenship, have the right to visit the museum for free, you just need to present your student or student ID at the box office.
