Eurovision is the main music competition in which participants from different countries compete in their talent every year. In 2017, many Russians are concerned about the question of who will represent Russia in this global project.

More recently, people were wondering who would go to the 62th song contest called Eurovision 2017. On March 12, it became known that Russia will be represented by Julia Samoilova, a girl who has been confined to a wheelchair since she was 13 years old (the reason is a polio vaccine). To say that the Russians were surprised by the choice is to say nothing. Some are very unhappy with the choice of the commission, while others are incredibly happy (the girl has many idols, because she is very famous). The discontent is understandable, the fact is that for several months there were rumors that either Daria Antonyuk or Alexander Panayotov would go from Russia to the contest, so many got used to this idea, it was difficult to imagine another contestant.
As for Yulia Samoilova, the girl is quite known to the audience. She has been participating in various music competitions for several years, often she can be seen on the federal channel, for example, in 2013 she took second place on the very popular Channel One show "Factor A", and in 2014 she opened the Paralympics in Sochi.
The choice has already been made, now the audience can only cheer for the girl in the competition and hope that she takes a worthy place in Eurovision 2017. By the way, the competition will be very soon: on May 9 and 11 it will be possible to find out if the girl went to the final, and on May 13 - what place she took (of course, provided that she went to the finals).
