High Security Prison Conditions
A person is able to make his life fascinating, but often forgets about it, plunging into the routine of everyday affairs and worries. But somewhere people live in completely different conditions, and they are ready to give everything in order to stay at least a day as a free person. And these places are forced labor colonies of high security. It was these words that crossed out their fate. But behind barbed wire there is life too, what is it?
In any strict-security prison, there are three separate territories in which the conditions of detention are very different. When a person is first placed in such a colony, normal conditions of detention are provided for him. To do this, there are all the amenities that are sufficient for normal life support. They are given the opportunity to maintain contact with loved ones, relatives. For this purpose, telephone calls, the ability to correspond, receive parcels and send them, receive money transfers and go on dates serve.
When the first 9 months of their stay in the colony pass, the prisoner can be transferred to a facilitated regime of detention. Only this is possible provided that there are no penalties. A person must observe order and relate to work more than in good faith.
If the prisoner seriously violates the procedure established for the detention center, he will be transferred to more stringent conditions of detention. The purpose of such a transfer is to ensure the safety of other prisoners, to make the upbringing process more effective, to stop the negative impact on others.
How are ITCs arranged?
There are dormitories in the maximum security colony, where the rooms are compactly equipped with bunk beds. The building has equipped shower rooms, toilets, domestic premises, drying rooms for shoes and clothes, a dining room. In women's colonies there is still a room for personal hygiene.
For those to whom strict maintenance is prescribed, a number of restrictions are imposed. Separate rooms are provided for them, and behavior is constantly monitored. Strict conditions significantly restrict the movement of a prisoner, even within the confinement center, he may be prohibited from communicating with fellow sufferers. Parcels or transfers are allowed, but a maximum of 2 during the year, one date can be long-term, for three days, and two short-term. They also have a walk, 1.5 hours daily.
From all this, it is clear that the conditions in the strict-security colony are strict, they are very different from the usual ones at large. But a person gets used to everything, only time and patience are needed. But the prisoners have a hope that they will receive parole and return home.
