Biography
Vladimir Alekseevich Tolokonnikov was born in Alma-Ata at that time in the Kazakh SSR in 1943 on June 25. When the war was on, soldiers were recovering from wounds in hospitals in Kazakhstan, one of them became the father of the future actor. After full recovery, the man again went to war, and little Vladimir never saw his father. Mom brought him up alone, however, he never heard a bad word about his father.
Vladimir from early childhood was a very talented boy, he drew well and even thought of connecting his life with painting. But inspired by the exploits of Soviet pilots, he dreamed of becoming a pilot. By the end of the school, Vladimir finally decided on his future, he decided to become an artist. Moreover, on the stage you can play anyone - and a courageous front-line pilot and an intelligent artist.
Despite the talent and great desire to play on stage, there were great difficulties with entering the theater universities. Several attempts were unsuccessful, a member of one of the selection commissions added fuel - according to him, Vladimir had an extremely specific appearance, which prevented him from entering. Nevertheless, the future artist was not discouraged. Before the army, he managed to work in the youth studio of Pomerantsev, several times appeared on local television. In the army, he also actively participated in amateur performances.
Career
After demobilization, Vladimir did not give up his dream and again went to Moscow. But the guy was waiting for another disappointment. Then he went to Samara, where he performed for a year at the local theater. Finally, luck smiled at him and he was able to enter a theater school in the city of Yaroslavl. Having successfully graduated from an educational institution, he returned to his native Alma-Ata, where he was admitted to the largest theater in Kazakhstan.
The film debut was a cameo in the movie "The Last Transition", filmed in 1981. Popular recognition for the artist brought the famous role of Sharikov in the comedy V. Bortko "Dog Heart". The film was shot on the novel of the same name by Mikhail Bulgakov. From that moment on, his specific appearance played into his hands only; he was invited to many famous paintings. One of the most successful films of our time with Tolokonnikov in the lead role can be considered the comedy "Hottabych", a modernized version of the tale of the Soviet writer L. Lagin.
