Many still remember the high-profile terrorist acts, the victims of which were passengers of the Moscow metro. Unfortunately, the specifics of underground transport are such that the damaging effect of explosives is compounded by the lack of direct access of oxygen and a large concentration of people. Everyone needs to know how to behave during a terrorist attack on the subway in order to avoid the danger.
Instruction manual
1
If the explosion occurred in a moving car, immediately inform the intercom engineer located on the wall of the car next to the doors. Try not to panic and reassure those close to this. Take the children in their arms, put the elderly in the seats. If it is very smokey, remove the handkerchief that is folded several times and breathe through it. Stay in place while driving. Use fire extinguishers if the car starts to burn; they are located under the seats.
2
In the event that the train arrived at the station or the evacuation of passengers began in the tunnel, skip children and elderly people to exit the carriage. Do not leave the train in the tunnel without a command from the driver and do not touch the metal parts of the car. Move along the wall opposite the current-carrying duct in the direction of smoke movement. If the smoke is high, lie down on the floor. If the oncoming train moves, take cover in a side niche. Remember that the conductive rail is the leftmost along the train.
3
Passengers are evacuated at subway stations using escalators, three of which are connected to the exit, and one is left for rescuers and doctors. Keep calm and move towards the exit. The most dangerous thing is panic, therefore, all attempts to throw out uncontrolled emotions should be stopped quite strictly - up to a weighty slap in the face, which can bring a person to his senses. Attempts to push through the crowd must be stopped by categorical commands: “Stand!”, “Do not move!”, “Lie!”
4
When the crowd has run, move with it. On the run, collect loose hair in a bun, fasten your clothes with all buttons or with a zipper. Clasp your hands in front of the chest, bend them at the elbows, cover the sternum from squeezing. Your task is to stay on your feet at all costs. Try to gradually move to the edge, but not to the wall, so as not to be crushed.
