Derek Mirs is an American actor and stuntman. The audience remembered him for his role in the film "Friday the 13th." Derek starred in Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Men in Black 2, Alita: Battle Angel, and Gangster Hunters.

Derek Mirs was born April 29, 1972 in Bakersfield, California. He received his secondary education at Highland School in his hometown. In 2008, he married actress, director, screenwriter, producer and cameraman Jennifer Flack. After 4 years, their marriage broke up, and in 2012 they divorced. There were no children in their family.
