You will need
Last letter from the Pension Fund.
Instruction manual
1
Find the last letter sent to you by the Pension Fund of the Russian Federation (PF RF). It comes to every working citizen every year and contains information about his pension savings. If you do not receive such information reports, contact the PF at your place of residence so that your address is included in the newsletter.
2
Use one of the so-called "pension calculators" for calculations. They can be found on the websites of non-governmental pension funds (NPFs) and other institutions, for example, on the portal of the Capital Management Company.
3
Enter your personal information in the calculator. Indicate age, taking into account when you are going to retire. As you know, people working in the Far North and regions equivalent to them have the right to retire 5-10 years earlier than other categories of citizens.
4
Also indicate your salary, the amount of pension savings (it is in the letter to the FIU), exciting pension contributions, if you pay them. In the "Estimated return on funds" section, indicate 7% if you have not transferred your money to NPFs. Otherwise, find information about the profitability of your fund on its website.
5
Click on the "Calculate" button. The system will give you the size of your future funded and insurance parts of the pension. Please note that these are approximate indicators, moreover, calculated without taking into account inflation. The actual size of your pension in the future may differ from the one indicated, for example, if you have a sharp change in your salary during your life. But the older you are, the more accurate are the calculated numbers.
note
In addition to pensions, older people who work in the Far North are entitled to various benefits. For example, if they still live where they worked, they can once a year receive compensation from the state for a trip on vacation within Russia.
