Recently, employers often use the services of not only Russian citizens, but also foreigners. To get a job in Russia, you need to draw up a number of documents. This process is often delayed, so be patient.
Instruction manual
1
Get a passport in your country. Do not forget to make it for children under fourteen years of age who may travel with you.
2
Make copies in advance of all available documents. Take a color photo on 2x4 matte paper in the amount of two pieces.
3
Order a translation of all documents into Russian. This procedure can be done in Russia, where there are a number of translation centers. Assure the translation to a notary public.
4
Your employer should have two conclusions in hand, justifying the need to hire foreigners, agreed with the Ministry of Labor and Social Development.
5
Register at the place of stay through the post office, where you will be given a questionnaire to fill out. To do this, you must have with you two passports (yours and the landlord) and a migration card issued at the border crossing. Hand over the application in the presence of the landlord with whom you register. The mail officer will return you the spine of the questionnaire with the seal that the documents have been accepted. From now on, you will reside legally in Russia.
6
Conclude an agreement with the employer. Read it carefully before signing. If something did not suit you, ask to change this clause of the contract.
7
Within ten days, contact the territorial office of the Federal Migration Service: provide an application, a migration card with a note about crossing the border, a receipt on payment of state duty (one thousand rubles) and a passport with a translation, which is certified by a notary. Be sure to leave your phone number so you can be called back if necessary.
eight
Take a medical examination within thirty days. Naturally, you will have to pay for this procedure, since medical care is free only for citizens of the Russian Federation.
9
Submit medical certificates in Russian to the Federal Migration Service confirming that you have no dangerous diseases (tuberculosis, syphilis, leprosy, chlamydial lymphogranuloma, chancroid), as well as a certificate from a drug treatment clinic.
ten
Get a work permit in the Russian Federation and start your career.
Helpful advice
The registration process very often depends on the availability of international treaties with your state and their compliance by both parties. If there is no agreement, then obtaining a permit is more difficult.
