The income tax declaration for individuals (form 3NDFL) for the last year must be submitted on time from January 1 to April 30, excluding weekends. There are two ways to do this: 1) take it personally to the tax office; 2) send it there by mail. The possibility of declaring personal income via the Internet has not yet been provided.

Before filing a declaration, it is necessary to collect documents confirming income. You don’t need to take them to the tax office, they will help you not to make a mistake when calculating. Along with contracts, if available, you can use the history of cash receipts to electronic wallets in payment systems, to bank accounts, etc. In general, all reminders of the income that you consider necessary to declare. If you received all of your income for the past year from tax agents, you should not file a return. If you had income that you must declare yourself (from the sale of property received from abroad, etc.), the declaration should reflect not only it, but also all income for the year.

Payment of tax on income received from a tax agent is confirmed by certificates in the form 2NDFL, which can be obtained through the accounting department or human resources department of the organization by writing a statement addressed to its head.
You must pay taxes on other income yourself through Sberbank in cash or by transfer from your account to any commercial bank. No commission is charged for such transfers.

The declaration form is easiest to download on the Internet by driving into any search engine the request “3NDFL form” or “PIT declaration”. The form must be printed on a computer and output to a printer. The law also allows you to fill out a freehand declaration in blue or black ink.
If you intend to take it personally to the inspection, print it in two copies and make two copies of each tax payment document. If you send by mail, one set is enough.

When you visit the tax office, you can give the declaration with all the documents attached to it by the stapler, in a special window. Another option - on duty in the lobby. On the second copy that remains with you, an acceptance mark is made on the inspection.
By mail send a set of documents by registered letter to the address of the inspection. A receipt of his admission is proof that you have fulfilled your obligations. You can also draw up an inventory of investments and a letter of delivery notice.

Failure to provide a tax return and tax evasion from income received is fraught with liability up to criminal liability. In this case, the income received for the past three years is taken into account. For example, in 2011 this is income for 2008-2010 inclusive. In 2010 - for 2009-2011.

- It is better to bring a tax return in January-February: at this time there are fewer people;
- only documents confirming the payment of tax are attached to the declaration (2NDFL certificates, receipts, payment orders with a bank note). Documents confirming the amount of income received, do not need to be attached.
