Instruction manual
1
A review, or review, of a work of art should consist of several points. In the first paragraph, give the general characteristics of the picture, its actual description, specify in detail what you see on it. Make a special emphasis on moments that especially attract attention and leave a lasting impression. For example, "The picture depicts a turquoise sea, beautiful silver sand attracts particular attention, the boundless blue sky catches your eye, there is a feeling of silence that violates only the sound of the surf and distant bursts of oars."
2
Further, it would be worthwhile to sort through all the associations, thoughts that came to your mind from what you saw. For example, "The landscape of the picture is associated with a vacation that you so want to spend on the shores of the azure sea, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life, will plunge headlong into peace and silence."
3
In the next paragraph, give free rein to all the feelings of what you see. Admiration for the viewed work can be expressed in enthusiastic form. For example, "amazing", "amazing", "class", "super", "I want to see such a picture daily, waking up in the morning." Give the rating that is closest to you in the spoken genre.
4
Develop your own idea. Describe in detail what came to your mind after what you saw. Describe what you need to add, what detail the artist lost sight of, what impression the painting would have made if additional landscapes had been added to it, the color of the paint had been changed, or the canvas had been designed in a different style.
5
At the end of the description, give a general description of the artist’s works and your description of the painting described. Give a direction for further creativity, indicate what style, genre you would like to see in the future, what works you plan to purchase for your own interior, collection or as a gift. Summarize everything you describe. For example, "Contemporary painting is more and more pleasing with vital and rich works. Contemporary art has overcome postmodernism and expressiveness, returning connoisseurs to the world of real reality, young artists have revealed the whole facet of their creative potential, which was previously inaccessible and shone with new colors."
