The Honored Artist of the Lithuanian SSR, Lubomyras Laucevičius, was a favorite artist of the audience of the entire Soviet Union. This charismatic actor created the images of heroes, scoundrels, aristocrats. And in each role he was very organic and created a sense of reality of what was happening on the screen.

They attribute to Stanislavsky the famous “I do not believe it!”, But Laucevicius wanted to believe right away, as soon as he appeared on the screen - he was so convincing.
Biography
Lubomiras Laucevičius was born in 1950 in Vilnius. As a boy, he was very fond of reading, and when he grew up, his main interest became poems and plays. He imagined how it would look on stage or on screen in a movie.
After school, Lubomiras became a student in the studio of the Panevezys Drama Theater, and then became an actor here. For seven years he went on stage and embodied his childhood dream: a paper script turned into an action that fascinated the audience.
The Panevezys Theater became for him a real school of professionalism. In one of the interviews, Laucevičius said that if you did not play in the theater, you cannot be a good actor in the cinema. He himself played in both modern and classical plays - such as Cyrano de Bergerac, Venetian Merchant, Crime and Punishment.
Now the actor is a member of the troupe of the Kaunas Drama Theater.
Movie career
The first experience on the set was successful for Lubomyras - he starred in two episodic roles in 1979 and played almost identical roles: the chief of security and the chief of police.
A year later, another film appeared in his portfolio - “The daughter of a horse-thief, ” and a year later he appeared in the film, which made him famous. This is the picture "Rich Man, Poor …" (1982). With the role of Axel Jordah in this series, the path of the young actor to the big movie began.
This is not to say that every year he played a significant role in the full-length picture, but his every work was noticeable.
For example, in 1990, he played a major role in the film "Sea Wolf" by Jack London. His hero outside is very tough, strong-willed and strong. And inside, he is very lonely, and therefore he wants to reflect on the meaning of life, its mortality.
Another film where Laucevicius played a significant role is the film “The Master and Margarita” (2005), where Russian partners Oleg Basilashvili, Kirill Lavrov, Sergey Bezrukov, Anna Kovalchuk, Valentin Gaft and others became his partners.

At the beginning of the new century, when the Soviet Union was gone, Laucevicius continued to act in Russian films. For example, in 2009, he played the role of governor in the tape "Taras Bulba". Later in his filmography appeared series and short films.
The best films in the portfolio of Lyubomyras are considered to be “Go and See”, “Stalingrad”, “Mother”, “Alien White and Pockmarked”, “Wolf Blood”. The best series, except for those named, - "Multiplying sorrow."
