The hat is undoubtedly a very feminine accessory that gives grace and a certain riddle to its owner. The story of hats is just as interesting as the woman herself.

The word "hat" from German is translated as "a hat that maintains a stable shape." It consists of a bottom, a tulle and a field. For the manufacture of hats use straws, felt, cloth, leather, fur, fabrics. The female hat has always been in the center of public attention: the male look itself stopped at this ingenious construction. The history of hats is rooted in the deep past. In fact, the "progenitors" of a modern fashionable hat first appeared already when a person had to defend himself from the cold and the scorching sun by all available means, including using the first hats in history.

The hat, as well as the European cut of the costume, meant the estate of the person. In Russia of the 19th century, a female hat became an integral part of the appearance of any woman who would like to emphasize her involvement in another culture. The female hat testified that the girl or lady has the appropriate education, they know the rules of social etiquette and in the theater, for a ball or a walk they will choose the hat that matches the occasion.
In the winter of 1908–1909 in the Russian Empire, exotic women's hats of bizarre shapes only began to appear, and therefore they still surprised people. Ladies hats began to be decorated with bouquets of flowers or leaves, garlands of artificial poppies, roses and dahlias. The most luxurious ones were decorated with dry or artificial insects, wings, or even stuffed birds, or at least generously decorated with feathers.
Hats were worn on long dresses with a stand-up collar under the throat and a high or fuzzy waist. An elongated silhouette came into fashion. To visually lengthen the figure, it was spirally wrapped in a scarf, boa or fur. Dresses were most often sewn from satin or matte silk moire. The most popular colors were a combination of black with purple or fiery red, gray, gray-green and swamp green.

Of course, modern hats are not at all similar to their prototypes from ancient eras. Centuries of changes in fashion "survived" only a few models, which today are not without reason considered classic. Nowadays, hats made of expensive and dense materials are harmoniously combined with luxurious evening dresses made of satin and silk, and the daily version of the hat-hat made of soft material is very similar to ordinary panama and can complement any casual clothes.
