Biography
David was born on July 4, 1990 in the small German town of Henstedt-Ulzburg. Almost immediately after the birth of the boy, the family moved to Bartheide. It was there that Cross's childhood passed. In his youth, he loved spending time with his two brothers and sister, as well as playing basketball in the professional section. Having reached school age, the boy went to Eckhorst High School.
Especially easy he was given humanitarian subjects, such as literature, art, music, German. From childhood, David showed acting ability, participating in school theater productions and organizing his own stage performances for his friends. He loved to gather his loved ones, give them various roles, and then hold small performances, the audience of which often became members of his large family.
Career
His career began with a small appearance in the little-known film “Help. I'm Boy!”, Which was never translated into Russian. In December 2003, when David was only 13 years old, he joined the Blue Cloud theater group. Later Cross made with her a number of theatrical performances in Hilf.
In 2005, an artistic, talented and infinitely sincere boy attracted the attention of Detlev Buk - a famous director and producer. Soon, David auditioned for the main role in the film "It's Hard." To do this, Cross was forced to move with his mother to the Neukoeln district, where at that time there was a high crime rate. However, this did not frighten them, because the mother supported her son in all endeavors and was ready to do anything so that her boy would achieve great success in his career. But then David got a real pleasure from the shooting, so it was not so important for him who he would have to play, the main thing was to develop acting abilities. In the film "Hands from the Mississippi, " Cross played a small role as a student baker. During filming pauses, he often watched his older colleagues, trying to learn from their experience.
In the fall of 2006, David began acting in the movie The Satanic Mill. Here he again played the main role, but this time he had to play not quite an ordinary character, but a fairy-tale magician. For this, Cross needed a lot of preparation. Most of all the young man was motivated by the fact that such cult actors as Daniel Bruhl and Robert Stadlober would play with him. He did not want to let his team down, so Cross practiced magic tricks and tricks day and night.

In September 2007, David began acting in one of the most popular contemporary films, The Reader, along with actress Kate Winslet. For this role, Cross was forced to learn English in order to speak it fluently during the shooting process.
