Kim Breitburg is the stage name of the famous Soviet musician, producer and composer Kimol Breitburg. Thanks to the organizational talent of this talented person, the television screen was filled with interesting music shows and contests, new performers and musical pop groups appeared. Biography
Kim Breitburg's hometown is Ukrainian Lviv, in which the musician was born on February 10 in 1955. The family was very musical, since Kimol's father was a professional musician, and his mother was engaged in choreography. In childhood, the boy traveled a lot in the Soviet Union in connection with the touring activities of his parents. The child began to comprehend the basics of music from the age of five. He received a classical musical education and, by the time he chose a profession, masterfully played the piano.
In 1970, Kim entered the music school of Nikolaev, where he studied the theory of music, and then went to Moscow, where he entered the Institute of Contemporary Art. A talented student received an honors degree.
Work, creativity, career
The seventies of the twentieth century, all young people went crazy with rock music. The craze did not bypass the young musician. Kim Breiburg is trying to create amateur and professional rock bands. The first most famous group, which became popular in the Soviet Union, appeared within the walls of the Ural Philharmonic and received the sonorous name "Fast and Furious". And in 1978, the famous “Dialogue” appeared - a rock band that in the eighties became very popular among viewers and listeners of such a musical direction as art rock. Due to the high taste and musicality of the performed compositions, the Dialog musicians had the opportunity to tour not only in their native country, but also abroad. England, Italy, Spain, Sweden - in a short time, Soviet rock musicians traveled all over Europe and even participated in prestigious competitions.
Subsequently, the Dialog brand became known as an “incubator” organized by Kim Breitburg, Eugene Friedland and Vadim Botnaryuk for the search and preparation of new pop stars. Thanks to this project, Valery Meladze became known, such collectives as “Bakhyt-kompot”, “Bravo”, “Prime Minister”. Kim wrote music and lyrics for them, he himself produced performances by novice artists.
The television channel "Russia" won a lot when he invited Kim Breitburg to organize and conduct such sensational contests as "Battle of the Choirs", "People's Artist". The musician is one of the founders of the Vitebsk festival "Slavic Bazaar".
