Bertris Small is an American writer. She is the author of several dozen historical love affairs and novels. Bertris is a member of the Guild of American Writers. Also the creator of erotic prose is a member of the Association of Writers of America in the genre of romance.

Biography
Bertris Small was born December 9, 1937 in New York. The writer died at the age of 77 on February 24, 2015. The prose writer's parents were David Williams and Doris Steen. Mother and father Bertris Small worked in the field of television broadcasting. The writer studied at St. Mary's New York School for Girls, run by Anglican nuns. She then enrolled at Ohio Women's College. Bertris dropped out of school and went to Catherine Gibbs's secretary school. Subsequently, she worked as a secretary in advertising agencies. For 49 years, Bertris was married to George Small. The husband of the writer died in 2012. The son of Thomas grew up in the family. Bertris had 4 grandchildren. For 30 years, she lived on East Long Island.
Career
Bertris Small began her creative career in 1978. She created books in the historical, fantasy, erotic genre. Small bestsellers have been published in publications such as The New York Times, Publishers Weekly, USA Today, Los Angeles Times. Bertris has been awarded numerous awards, including the Best Historical Novel Award, Outstanding Historical Novel, Career for Historical Fantasy, and several Romantic Times Reviewer Choice Awards. She had a Silver Pen by Affaire de Coeur. In 2004, Bertris Small won the Lifetime Achievement Award from Romantic Times for her contributions to the genre.
