Anna was born in New Brunswick, an eastern Canadian province. Silk was born on January 31, 1974 in the family of the scientist Peter Silk. Anna's mother, Ilkay Silk, was a well-known Canadian actress, producer and director, and also taught acting. Anna has English, Turkish and Cypriot roots. Since childhood, she was admitted to the world of art, often visited her mother at work and starred in commercials. The issue of the future profession of the girl was resolved quite early.
