Anna Shilova - the famous Soviet television presenter, announcer, Honored Artist of the RSFSR. She was unusually popular and in demand, but her fate was not very successful.
Childhood, youth
Anna Shilova was born on March 15, 1927 in Novorossiysk. She grew up in a prosperous family, but the childhood of the future television star could not be called easy. When Anna was a teenager, war broke out. She did not like to recall these years.
Shilova studied at a regular school and from an early age demonstrated her talents. Anya was an active, cheerful child. Relatives said that she could become an actress. These words inspired hope in her. Anna decided to enter the Perm Theater School after graduation. After its successful completion, she decided to move to the capital, as the provincial actors had little chance of building a career.
Career
In Moscow, Anna began working at the Theater Studio of a film actor. It was created in the war years in order to provide employment for professional artists. She worked in the theater until 1956.
Working in a theater studio, Anna sometimes acted in films, and she was invited to play small roles in films:
- "New house";
- "On the stage";
- "In our city".
In the film "On the Stage", Shilov was not even indicated in the credits. Anna Nikolaevna dreamed of high-profile roles, but this was not destined to come true. At 20, the actress was given a terrible diagnosis. She was diagnosed with tuberculosis of the spine. This was a consequence of a difficult childhood. Shilova was forbidden to work and given disability, but she did not give up. Anna Nikolaevna continued her professional activities and was treated. She had to forget about serious roles in the movie, but after she gave up her career, she still received offers to take part in several films. Shilova’s game can be seen in the pictures:
- "From New York to Yasnaya Polyana";
- "October";
- "At the first hour";
- "The tallest".
Most of the roles were episodic and Anna did not succeed as a movie actress. In 1956, dramatic changes took place in her life. She decided to try herself on television. At the Ostankino studio, announcers were selected and Shilov successfully passed all the tests. The competition was serious. About 500 people claimed the 1st place. When Anna found out that she was enrolled in the Ostankino staff, she was very happy. She quit her job at the theater and filming a movie completely and without regret.
At the beginning of her television career, Anna Shilova hosted information and sports programs. She also voiced some of the programs. In the "Cinema Panorama" her voice sounded off-screen.
In the early 70s of the last century, Anna began to lead the program "Blue Light". After that, she became even more popular. The audience loved her for her professionalism and openness. Shilova conducted programs so that everyone was interested in watching them, regardless of age. Anna had her own style and a great sense of humor. Her appearance for many Soviet women was the standard of elegance and beauty. She was admired and even envied, sought to be like her. Her manner of holding on to people, conducting a conversation was delighted.
From 1971 to 1975, Shilova was the host of the program “Blue Light” paired with Igor Kirillov. There were not very many leading people at that time, and Anna Nikolaevna, along with some other colleagues, became symbols of Soviet television. Anna Shilova worked on television for more than 40 years. She was awarded the title of Honored Artist of the RSFSR and awarded the medal "For Labor Valor".
