Biography and career
Andrei Konstantinovich is the son of architect Konstantin Petrovich Dellos (has French roots) and the famous singer of Russian romances, Marina G. Maltseva, the great-grandson of the famous French couturier, who supplied costumes for the Emperor of Russia and had several salons in Moscow and St. Petersburg. He was born on December 29, 1955 in Moscow.
Andrei Konstantinovich’s childhood passed in a creative environment, celebrities often came to visit them. In addition, he studied at school with the children of actors. Communication with creative people influenced the choice of profession. As a child, Andrei Konstantinovich decided that he would definitely receive an interesting profession related to creative activities in theater and cinema. He even dreamed of becoming a director. He did not fulfill his childhood dreams; he chose a completely different profession for himself.
The first specialty received by Andrey Konstantinovich is connected with restoration work. He graduated from the Art College in memory of 1905 and received a diploma in the specialty of artist-restorer. Andrei Konstantinovich studied a lot. Four years after graduation, at the insistence of his father, he entered the Moscow Automobile and Road Institute, where he received his education and a diploma in civil engineering. The knowledge gained was useful in life. Andrei Konstantinovich speaks foreign languages, having received appropriate education at the institute and at special courses.
During the period from 1980 to 1987, Andrei Konstantinovich changed several types of activities. He painted, worked as a guide-translator, artist-restorer, simultaneous interpreter, editorial staff, produced dictionaries, worked as a builder.
In the late 80s and early 90s, he lived in France and worked there as an easel painter.
Organizational abilities in Andrei Konstantinovich began to manifest themselves in childhood. They came in handy in 1992, when he and Anton Tabakov opened the PILOT disco and the SOHO art club. Money for a disco and an art club was looking for Andrei Konstantinovich. He received part of the money from his friend from Japan, part of the money secured by his apartment. Since 1996, Andrei Konstantinovich began to open restaurants, shops, and actively engage in other projects. The most famous of his projects are: the restaurant "Bochka" and the restaurant "Cafe Pushkin".
The chain of the Mu-Mu cafe also belongs to him. Andrei Konstantinovich opened a restaurant in New York and several restaurants in Paris. The restaurateur is not going to stop there and plans to open restaurants in the Arab countries. Restaurants are part of the Maison Dellos holding.
