Anatoly Mityaev - Soviet and Russian writer, screenwriter and poet. The chief editor of children's publications "Murzilka", "New Toy" and Soyuzmultfilm studio was a member of the Union of Writers of the USSR. He was awarded the orders of World War II and the Red Banner of Labor.

The literary and art magazine for children "Murzilka" was founded on May 16, 1924. They wrote it out in every Soviet family where the child was. Often, even a difficult financial situation did not become a reason for refusing to publish. The magazine was considered a reference. The pages of Agni Barto, Nikolai Nosov, Boris Zakhoder and Sergei Mikhalkov were first published on its pages. Just four days earlier than the magazine, his future editor-in-chief was born.
The beginning of the path to literature
The biography of Anatoly Vasilievich began in 1924 in the small village of Yastrebki, Ryazan Region. He was born on May 12 in the family of a Red Army peasant and a teacher at a local school. The boy began to read at the age of five. He especially liked the story of O. Henry "The Leader of the Redskins." The teenager became interested in the works of Jack London.
After school, the graduate decided to get an education in a forestry college. Even Mityaev, he decided to become a forester. In 1942, Anatoly Vasilievich went to the front. He served in a separate guard mortar division. The rookie was able to participate in the battles on the third day. The volunteer was awarded the medal "For Courage".
Then, after the war, there was admission to a military school. From 1946 he began to write. His notes and poems about life in the army were published in the journal Anxiety of the Far Eastern Military District. In 1950, Mityaev began his work as executive secretary of the Pionerskaya Pravda newspaper for children.
In 1960, Anatoly Vasilievich became the chief editor of the magazine "Murzilka". The writer and poet proved to be an excellent leader. During his career, the best writers and artists worked in the publication.
Editorial activity
Mityaev had the gift of seeing talents. In the seventies, the writer came to the Soyuzmultfilm studio. Then the admission to the Union of Writers of the USSR took place. The cinematic community began to gain momentum. The genre of cartoons developed, the heyday began. A little later, the studio became the largest in Europe.
During her leadership of Mityaev, Soyuzmultfilm received a huge number of prestigious awards at various festivals. Wonderful cartoons were shot based on the scripts of Anatoly Vasilyevich. All multivariants were fun and instructive.
So, "Granddaughter lost" - a story about the relationship of two generations. An old man decided to scare the naughty baby by the police. The girl ran away. The police really have to look for her. When the child was finally brought home, grandfather realized that such techniques should no longer be used.
With his patriotic works, the writer developed a children's culture, brought up responsibility for everything that happens. The main theme of the author's work was World War II. But narrated in his writings not only about battles. Works show how yesterday's boys turn into real heroes.
In the works there is room for compassion and for action. The true heroism of the famous writer considered the ability to maintain humanity in inhuman conditions. In a difficult time for art, on the initiative of Mityaev, the publication "The New Toy Russian Journal for Children" was opened.
