Valentina was born in 1942 in Kaliningrad, Moscow Region. There was a war, many were evacuated from their native cities, and the Titov family went to Sverdlovsk, where the childhood of the future actress passed.
Valya grew up like all the girls - she loved to organize concerts, look at posters with famous actors, and did not suspect that she would also become famous. The school had a theater circle, and Valya was happy to study in it, and then in the circle of the local House of Culture. There she performed her first role on the stage.
In Sverdlovsk, Titova entered the theater school, at the same time she played in the Youth Theater. However, having completed two courses of the school, she simply ran away from home to Leningrad. Having settled in the northern capital, she entered the Gorky BDT studio, graduating in 1964.
Careers in film and theater
The debut of Valentina Titova happened in 1963 - it was an episode in the film "Everything Remains to People". And the very next year she played one of the main characters in the film "Blizzard" according to Pushkin. The demanding director Vladimir Basov shot the picture, and he was pleased with the actress's play.
We can say about the next film that it was lucky for the person who starred in it - after all, the film “Shield and Sword” (1968) became a cult in the USSR, and viewers of different ages are still watching this series. Titova was lucky to play the role of Nina in this film, and after this role she became a recognizable actress.
In 1970, an important event happened in the life of Valentina Titova: she entered the service in the Theater Studio of the film actor in Moscow. She played a lot, but the roles were mostly secondary. The plus was that they were very different roles, and the actress was not stuck in any one role, but was able to reveal her potential from different angles.

For all the actors in the Soviet Union, the 90s became critical, Titov also touched on this problem - she began to act in films much less often.
