Vladimir Kulik is a Soviet and Russian footballer who played in the position of the striker, formerly the star of Zenit and CSKA.

Biography
The future footballer was born on February 18, 1972 in Leningrad. Since childhood, Vova loved to play football, like his older brother. From the age of 5, the boy began to engage in a sports school.
Kulik began to play as a striker. Vladimir perfectly demonstrated his capabilities and at the age of twelve he managed to become the champion of Leningrad. At eighteen, the boy was invited to play in Kirovets, in this team Vladimir played for 2 years. In the 91st year, Vova moved to - “Zenith”.
Career at Zenith
Playing for Zenit, the footballer received an invitation to play for the USSR team. Vova played eight matches for the youth team and scored eight goals, an excellent result. In “Zenith” Vladimir was immediately able to get into the base of the team and in the 92nd year he became the club's top scorer, scoring 13 goals in 31 matches.
In the 92/93 season, “Zenith” got into the I League, at that moment Kulik was able to show his capabilities to the whole world, in 38 games he scored 40 goals. Over the next two seasons, Vladimir also showed an excellent game, scoring 37 goals, Vova was able to help “Zenith” win the bronze of Division I, “Zenith” was able to enter the elite of Russian clubs.
In the new season, Vladimir also showed an excellent game, scoring 11 goals, but in the middle of the season the team changed their head coach - Anatoly Byshovets. Vladimir could not find a common language with the coach and the football player decided to move to CSKA in the 97th year.
Transition to CSKA
Going to “CSKA” Vova immediately got into the main team, showing an excellent level of the game. In the 1997/1998 season, Vova was able to send 10 goals into the opponent’s goal, in 29 matches, he managed to become the club’s top scorer. The following season, Vova scored 14 goals and helped the team take 2nd place in the championship.
The 2000/2001 season for Kulik was a turning point in his career, Vladimir managed to score 10 goals in 27 matches, but was injured at the end of the season. The next season, Kulik failed, for 22 matches he scored only one goal. “CSKA” decided not to renew the contract with the player, Vladimir tried to find a new club, but he failed.
