Biography
The future actor was born in 1970 in the city of Glazov, which is located in Udmurtia. However, Vitaliy considers Irkutsk to be his homeland, because he was transported a very small one to this city, and his childhood passed there.
A strong boy from an early age went in for sports. She early became high, and to the worst classes rose to 192 centimeters. Therefore, it is not surprising that he began to practice basketball. He was a capable athlete and very soon he was a member of the Irkutsk national team. However, a little later he realized that this was not what he would like to do, and left the team.
After graduating from school, Vitaliy was educated at the Irkutsk Power Engineering College and became a construction technician. Then he served in the army for two years, after which he returned home.
Since that time, his quest began: by profession he did not want to work, and at the same time did not know what he wanted to do. He went through a lot of classes, starting with a builder-installer, he was even a nurse and a bodyguard. This gave him great experience and knowledge of people, which is so important for the acting profession.
Although he did not even think about it at that time and did not suspect that in a few years he would submit documents to the theater school. However, already in adulthood, when he was twenty-five years old, Abdulov began to study as an actor in Irkutsk. It was then that he realized that this is what he wants to do.
He was engaged with pleasure, with drive, as if trying to catch up with lost time. At one of the training performances, a director from Moscow saw him and advised him to go to study in the capital. Without hesitation, Vitaly packed up his things and a few days later was already in the admissions committee of GITIS. However, luck didn’t smile here, and for a moment it seemed that he had arrived in vain — he had spent time and nerves. Then the momentary weakness passed, and he turned his eyes towards the Moscow Art Theater School. Here he was received, and he studied with great pleasure from the capital's masters. In 2004, a young actor left the walls of the university.
Actor's career
Abdulov began acting in TV shows when he was still a student at the Moscow Art Theater. The young man was invited to episodic roles in the series "I am a Doll" (2001), "Soldiers" (2004), "Citizen Chief" (2001) and others. An interesting episode was when he was invited to the role of a lumberjack in the film adaptation of "Shukshin Stories."
Here he was on the same set with such celebrities as Lyudmila Gurchenko, Ada Rogovtseva, Marat Basharov, Andrey Panin, Viktor Sukhorukov, Gennady Nazarov and others.
Then a whole series of roles began in his career, when his tall stature and serious appearance played a cruel joke on him: he was always invited to the roles of security guards or military men, and in contrast to this, they played the role of law enforcement officers or bandits. He also played bodyguards, recalling his young years. And even played a taxi driver in the German-American film "The Bourne Supremacy." Here he worked on the same platform with actors Matt Damon (the main role), Karl Urban, Brian Cox, Joan Allen and others.
However, these were all so insignificant episodes that the actor was not talking about any fame. And in 2004, the series "Soldiers" was released, which immediately became popular. Abdulov played the role of Evseev here and coped with it remarkably. After this series, he began to receive invitations for more significant roles: a diesel engineer in the action film "The First After God" (2005), Boa in the series "Ticket to the Harem" (2006) Zagibaylova in the film "Hot November" (2006).

Just a couple of years, having played several more episodic roles, Abdulov got into the Ranetki project (2008-2010) - here he played the role of a physical education instructor. This added him a lot of points in the acting rating. And the series "Kadestvo" (2006-2007) showed that Vitaliy is able to play not only bandits and security guards: he appeared in the image of the deputy mayor of the city.
As for the crime series, Abdulov was lucky to participate in the projects "Kamenskaya-4" (2005) and "Heavy Sand" (2008).
One of the popular projects where the actor starred was the series "Second Spartacus Uprising" (2012-
) about the years of World War II. The main character, whose name is Spartak, is unjustly convicted and wants to restore his rights. A military pilot organizes a real uprising in the Gulag against the regime in the camp. Abdulov played in the series servant Vasilyev.
Among the actor’s latest works, roles in the series “The Other Side of Love” (2017), “Deadly Training” (2018) and “Moscow Doesn’t” (2019) can be called.
