In today's information field, professional journalists are becoming less and less. Andrey Uglanov belongs to the older generation of "writing fraternity." His publications are always verified, the facts are verified, the presentation style is impeccable.

Starting conditions
The fact that natives of the province achieve worthy success in the capital has been known since ancient Rome. Andrei Ivanovich Uglanov was born on May 12, 1956 in an ordinary Soviet family. Parents at that time lived in the legendary town of Kirovo-Chepetsk, which is located in the Kirov region. My father worked at a local chemical plant. Mother worked as a teacher at school. From a young age, a child watched how engineering and technical workers live and what tasks they solve.
At school, Andrei studied well. His favorite subjects were mathematics and physics. I regularly read the magazines "Young Technician" and "Technique of Youth". I found a common language with classmates. On the street, a physically strong guy did not allow himself to be offended. Moreover, the list of hooligans was not listed. After graduation, he went to Moscow and entered the famous Aviation Institute. In 1979, having graduated, a graduate began his production career in the scientific and production association "Star".
The path to the profession
Uglanov’s biography says that he took part in tests of space modules. And even considered a candidate for admission to the cosmonaut squad. About why he left this type of activity, there is no information in open sources. Maybe he cheated on his homeland, and maybe health has let us down. In 1985, Uglan entered a special department of the journalism faculty of Moscow State University and two years later received another specialty - a journalist. By this time, perestroika processes were unfolding in the country.
A young journalist with solid life experience was accepted into the editorial office of the weekly newspaper Argumenty i Fakty. Literally a few weeks later, Uglanov was transferred to the post of head of the letters department. In the routine of everyday affairs, engaged in literary work, Andrei Ivanovich “grew up” to the chair of the deputy editor-in-chief. Not everyone knows that intrigues in the editorial teams are weaving regularly and often there are noisy scandals.
