In winter 1947 in February 1947, Tatyana Vladimirovna Chernigovskaya was born in St. Petersburg. The girl’s family was considered intelligent, her parents devoted themselves to science and were scientists.
Tatyana Vladimirovna from a young age was brought up in a working and scientific atmosphere. Subsequently, such education had an impact on the choice of the future Chernihiv specialty.
Studied Tatyana Vladimirovna in the English-language, the only school during the Soviet Union, which instilled in the girl a love of linguistics. Thanks to studying at this school, Tatyana had a great desire to learn languages.
After graduating from school, Chernigovskaya entered the Faculty of English Philology of the Department of "Extreme Phonetics" at St. Petersburg State University. According to Tatyana Vladimirovna herself, all her actions were impulsive at the call of her heart and soul. She never thought about her future, much less planned it.
Scientific activity
Tatyana Chernigovskaya was a very talented girl who defended her thesis at the age of thirty (1977). An important year in Tatyana’s life was 1993, the year of doctoral defense.
Currently, she has the title of professor and is a doctor of philological and biological sciences.
Tatyana Vladimirovna studies the human brain. His study is delicate and very complex. Speaking in scientific language, we can say that Chernihiv is engaged in the study of psycholinguistics and neurolinguistics.
She believes that deep and high-quality study of the human brain without using knowledge from other fields of science is completely impossible.
Chernigovskaya holds the position of deputy director at the NBIK Center of the Kurchatov Institute. He is a lecturer in a number of local higher education institutions for graduate students and students. In her lectures, she tells young people about the work of the human brain and thought.
