Sterling Brown (full name Kelby Sterling Brown) is an American actor and producer. He was best known for his work on the television series American Crime History, where he starred Christopher Darden. Brown has repeatedly won Golden Globe and Emmy awards.

The boy was born in the United States in the spring of 1976 in a large family. He has two sisters and two brothers. When the boy was not yet ten years old, a misfortune occurred in the family - his father died. Further education of children was only the mother.
The child was named Kelby Sterling at birth, but later the young man began to use only his middle name - Sterling, in memory of his father, Sterling Brown.
The boy studied at a regular school, but from an early age began to become interested in art and creativity. By the end of training, Sterling decided that he would definitely become an actor. He went to a local college. Then he went to New York to continue his studies at the university. Brown was educated in drama and graduated with a master's degree.

As a student, Brown began performing on the stage and continued his artistic career after graduation. He played many roles in the theater, but decided that he could achieve great success in the cinema.
