Biography and career
July 22, 1962 in the small town of Dedovsk in the suburbs, the future actor Roman Sergeyevich Madyanov was born. The boy was brought up in an intelligent family. His father worked on television, and his mother was a librarian. From early childhood, the novel had a genuine interest in working on TV, and with his brother after school, he disappeared at his dad's work.
When the boy was barely ten years old, he was noticed by one of the employees of the Mosfilm studio. So Roman was on trial with the famous Soviet film director George Danelia. Madyanov successfully passed the test and was approved for the main role in the film "Absolutely Missing." The picture was a film adaptation of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn by Mark Twain.
By the age of 16, the boy had a fairly solid list of works in the cinema. The early start of a career had a profound effect on school performance: regular travels for filming did not leave time to complete lessons. Roman somehow finished school, but already knew exactly who he would become by profession. On the recommendation of his father, Roman went to Moscow to enter one of the most famous theater universities - GITIS.
With already decent work experience in the cinema, Roman, confident in his abilities, could not do the first try. The problem was just the solid experience of playing in films, the university paid special attention to work in the theater, and the roles in the cinema were not considered as a positive experience. On the second attempt, the young actor managed to do the same, but he had to assure the management in writing that during the training he would not take part in the filming of films.
Madyanov very quickly got used to the theatrical stage and with great pleasure participated in the performances. He graduated with honors, but work in the theater and cinema had to be postponed for two years due to draft in the army.
In 1987, after demobilization, he returned to the V. Mayakovsky Theater and continued to work, simultaneously acting in films. To date, the venerable actor has more than 150 roles in various film works and television series.

Roman Madyanov became almost a hostage to the image. Most often, he is invited to play the role of the next oligarch, official or corrupt policeman. It is worth noting that, playing the roles of different scum, the actor easily convinces the viewer that they are really a bad person.
