The two-part art drama "Parting - while the Good" was shot at the Mosfilm studio in 1991 by the famous Belarusian director Vladimir Motyl. The release on DVD was made by Azimut in 2014.
The film, based on the works of the classic of Soviet prose, Fazil Iskander, tells about the difficult fate of the simple and respectable Caucasian peasant Bagrat, who is forced to hide from his enemies and eventually becomes an abrek. To people whom Bagrat Kapsh encounters during the persecution, he says: "We part - while the good ones", "We part, until none of you betrayed me." He understands that the peasants who hid him, wounded from his pursuers, can be seduced by the declared reward and give it to the Cossacks. After all, they are constantly in need and deprivation. Life dictates its own rules, and sometimes, in hopeless situations, even good people have to act not very noble. That is why, in the context of the script, one of Fazil Iskander’s catchphrases can be traced: "Animals do not betray anyone at all. Only people betray."
The film has everything that is found in everyday life: love and hate, meanness and courage, betrayal and self-sacrifice. At any time, one can understand how decent a person is, not only by the actions that he performs in relation to others. Much depends on how honest people are with themselves, whether they manage to live as conscience tells them, and not how the circumstances dictate.

His poem, entitled “Three Songs”, is a triptych, which, in addition to the song “Sad” in the second episode of the film, includes two more: “Table” and “Merry”. The text of one of them is built in the form of a dialogue:
- Why are you so divorced, the sonorous nightingale, and whom do you tease with your song? In the courtyard of inclement weather, sorrow and war - are you up to your songs these days?
- It is your business to fight in the field. It is your share - grief to grieve. Get away, don’t listen to my song. The time has come for me - so I am singing! And I sing songs loudly and cheerfully, not sparing my heart, how much it is! Get away, don’t listen, or sing with me! I have no other spring for songs.
