Today, most historians argue that Roman culture is based on borrowing Greek. Of course, she is somewhat different from her, but at the same time she is really secondary.

Was there a Roman culture ?!
Historians who study Roman culture have diverse points of view regarding its development and the volume of borrowings. Some believe, for example, that this culture did not exist at all, since all the knowledge about Roman culture that has come down to our time was the result of the interaction and unification of fairly developed Etruscan and Greek cultures with tribal traditions. After all, precisely such tribes previously inhabited the territory of Rome.
As for the religion of the Roman Empire, it was tolerated. After all, Greek traditions and cults were uniquely similar to Roman ones, and the functions performed by the gods were almost the same, united into pantheons by analogy with the deities of Rome. But there was still a certain difference. So the gods of the Greeks were a human face, but the deities of Rome were ephemeral creatures. In this case, it is worth saying that in some way the religion of the Romans had certain roots of the Greek heritage. In this case, it is appropriate to say that the Roman religion was filled with the emotionality of Greece, but at the same time had the severity inherent in Rome.
