Very often, people like to bring their point of view to a conversation. It turns out that many people like to argue. Very often people argue about different topics, even those that they don’t understand. Almost all disputes cause emotional or psychological overexcitation, which is difficult to suppress. Disputes are the cause of stressful conditions, this also applies to disputes on the Internet.
The Internet connects thousands of people around the world, giving people open access to information. Very often, in expressing their comments, people come to completely useless disputes. Why?
1. The purpose of the dispute is to determine the truth. But if you approach this from a philosophical point of view, for every truth there is another truth. It turns out that the dispute does not lead people to a single point of view, each of the opponents believes in its only truth.
2. The Internet hides the true face of a person under his pseudonym, avatar, profile. There are resources on which registration is required, but this does not mean anything. Usually, a person’s behavior on the Internet is different from his behavior in real life. On the network, we are not afraid to express our opinion, because we do not see the face of the interlocutor, we consider ourselves a true connoisseur, we can safely rig the arguments and facts. Very often on the Internet comes a banal showdown, insults and abuse. Why then do we need such a dispute?
3. If a person cannot win the dispute or the dispute comes to a personal bickering, then the person falls into a stressful state. Of course, there are people who throw everything out of their heads, but most remember this argument, and the consequences can torment them for a long time. We give a simple example.
A new clip of a group appeared on the YouTube channel, for example, this is a rap group. In this case, war in the comments is almost inevitable. First, there will be an innocuous discussion of the lyrics of the song, music and video, and in the end it will end with insults and fierce disputes between music lovers of various genres. An endless stream of insults will continue, both in relation to the performers of the song, and in relation to all commentators. It is almost impossible to avoid such a situation.
Do you really want to argue and proudly express your opinion on the whole Internet? If you like to argue so much, then participate in real open disputes, and not in discussions over the Internet. Just remember that stressful conditions can cause serious health problems. Disputes on the Internet, any negative feedback or comment in your direction can lead to this stressful state.
