Biography
In July 1976, on the first day in the capital of Holland, Amsterdam, the future footballer Patrick Kluivert was born. The boy was interested in football from early childhood, he not only played, but also enjoyed watching games on TV. He dreamed someday to be at the base of the famous Dutch club Ajax, popular at that time throughout the world. And one day his father brought him to the club academy for viewing. According to Patrick himself, he was very afraid to become disgraced, and looking at the other boys, he just wanted to drop everything and run away. But Patrick nevertheless coped with the jitters, successfully demonstrated his skills and was enrolled in the Ajax Academy.
Career
Patrick Klivert worked ten successful years in the youth team. The debut as a professional player for the main team took place in 1994. In August of the same year, Patrick made his debut in the Super Bowl match against Feyenoord, moreover, he scored. Thanks to the successful start of the season, Klivert got the opportunity to show themselves during the season. A few successful games in the national championship - and a talented footballer firmly entrenched in the basis of the team. In total, Patrick spent three seasons in the Dutch club, in which he appeared on the field 97 times and scored 50 goals. As part of Ajax, the famous football player twice became the champion of the country, twice won the Holland Cup, and in 1995 won the Champions League and European Super Cup.

After the Dutch club there was a season in the Italian “Milan”, where Klivert played 33 matches and scored nine goals. In 1998, the football player moved to the Spanish “Barcelona”, six creative years in the team brought to the Kluivert piggy bank the country's national title in 1999. In total for the Catalan club, Patrick made 255 exits on the field and hit the opponents' goal 120 times.
In 2004, the Dutch striker moved to foggy Albion to the Newcastle United Premier League club, where he played just one season. The following year he returned to Spain, to Valencia. In both clubs, Kluivert performed rather mediocre and did not win any trophies. Patrick ended his football career in the French club Lille from the city of the same name, where he played only fourteen games in a season.
