The story of the creation of "Mom"
The basis for the creation of the film "Mom" was the short film of the same name, the duration of which is three minutes. Andres Musketti took it off in 2008, spending 40 thousand euros on shooting and involving such actresses as Irma Monroig, Victoria Harris and Bertu Ros in the short film. In 2013, based on his three-minute film, Muschetti made a full-length version, in which actors quite popular today were filmed.
The filming process of the film was attended by Spanish and Canadian filmmakers, which provided the film with a high quality plot.
Musketti was invited to the leading roles in Mama by the handsome Dane Nicholas Coster-Waldau, who played Jaime Lanister in the mega-popular television series Game of Thrones, and the American actress Jessica Chastain, known to a wide audience for the film The Most Drunkest District in the World. The orphaned girls in the film were played by Isabelle Neliss and Meghan Charpentier, young aspiring actresses who had already managed to play vivid roles in episodes of famous contemporary series.
