Family, early years
Mikhail Anatolyevich was born on April 2, 1947. His hometown is Tashkent (Uzbekistan). Mikhail's father is a journalist, his mother is a musician. When the boy was 7 years old, his father was invited to work in Leningrad, and the family moved. Father received the post of deputy director of the House of Journalists, his mother got a job at the Philharmonic.
After graduating from school, Michael studied at the Electrotechnical Institute, studying the electrical equipment of ships. Having received a diploma, he worked as an engineer at the Central Research Institute of Marine Electrical Engineering.
Creative biography
In his student years, Mishin began to write humorous stories, which were sometimes published in newspapers. Once he showed his works to his father. Mishin decided to publish a book; it was published in 1976 and was called "Walking along a Trolley Bus Street".

In 1977, Mishin became a member of the Writers' Union. He met with the famous Raikin Arkady, thanks to his friends who arranged this meeting. The collaboration lasted several years, during which the production of "His Majesty's Theater" appeared.
Since 1986, Mishin began to live in Moscow. In the 80s, he created the script for the films "Free Wind", "Silva", and also became known as a pop artist. He performed in the program "Around the Laughter", wrote many works performed from the stage.
Mikhail Anatolyevich also starred in the movie "Moscow Vacations", "Children of Monday", "Genius" and others. In 90, many books of the writer were published: "Former Future", "Mixed Feelings", "Approved", etc. The writer became author of more than 19 books. Mikhail Anatolyevich was awarded the Golden Calf Award twice; he also received the Golden Ostap Award.
As a hobby, Mishin was engaged in translating English-language plays. However, after his translations they began to stage plays. Famous are "Number 13", "Too Married Taxi Driver" (by Ray Cooney), which appeared in theaters precisely thanks to Mishin.
