After leaving school, Mikhail without any doubt entered the Moscow Civil Engineering Institute. He studied well. Students erected cowsheds, grain dryers and other facilities for agriculture. Balakin, a resident of Moscow, watched with his own eyes how people live in a remote province.
Professional activity
Having received a higher specialized education, Balakin, by distribution, came to work in the structure of the Mospundamentstroy-1 trust. Good theoretical training and organizational skills allowed the young specialist to achieve decent results. Three years later, he took the post of chief engineer of construction management. In 1990, Mikhail Dmitrievich was appointed head of the construction department No. 155. The division carried out responsible tasks for the construction, repair and reconstruction of critical facilities.
In the early 90s, when the privatization of state property took place throughout the country, Balakin became co-owner and CEO of SU-155. Management career was successful. In 2000, Mikhail Dmitrievich as an effective manager was invited to the Committee on Architecture and Construction of the Moscow City Hall. For five years he participated in large-scale projects. Among others, the installation of a new stage of the famous Bolshoi Theater and the building of the library of Moscow State University.
