Margarita Sukhankina is an opera singer, for 10 years she performed at the Bolshoi Theater. She gained fame by recording songs for the Mirage collective.
Early years, youth
Margarita Anatolyevna was born on April 10, 1964. The family lived in Moscow. Her parents worked as engineers. From the age of 4, Rita sang in the choir of the Palace of Pioneers, then went to the music school, where she began to learn to play the piano.
In 1975, the girl fell into the choir of television and radio, becoming a soloist in the older group. The team had a lot of tours, including and abroad. They appeared on TV, participated in festivals.
After the eighth grade, Sukhankina graduated from the Music and Pedagogical College. Then she entered the conservatory, GITIS, but the attempts were unsuccessful. The girl began to study in Gnesinka, but dropped out of school. Then she still managed to get into the conservatory.
Creative biography
After graduating from the conservatory, Sukhankina began working at the Bolshoi Theater in Moscow, where she worked for 10 years. Then she left the troupe.
Back in the 80s, Margarita began to record songs with Lityagin Andrey, who was her friend. Many were included in the first Mirage collection. The second vocalist was Natalia Gulkina.
Sukhankina also became the performer of all songs of the 2nd collection "Together Again". The hits were “Music connected us”, “Night is coming”, “New hero”.
Margarita requested that there be no information about who performed the songs. She was afraid that for pop records she would be expelled from the conservatory. Vetlitskaya Natalya, Ovsienko Tatyana came onto the stage under the phonogram, but no one knew about Sukhankina. Then Margarita recorded the 3rd album, "Not the First Time." After leaving the theater, she was recording the "Chuvash album".
At that time, fashion began at the disco of the 80s, Sukhankina and Gulkina decided to perform together. The duo was called “Solo”, and then the name was changed to “Golden Voices of the Mirage Group.” In 2005, the collection “Just Mirage” appeared, in 2006 a concert was held at the State Central Concert Hall “Russia”.
In 2007, the Mirage started operations again under the leadership of Andrey Lityagin. In 2009, the album "A Thousand Stars" was released. Later, instead of Gulkina, Razina Svetlana began to perform, another former soloist of the group. In 2016, Sukhankina began to sing solo, performing songs of the Mirage and new compositions.
