Christoph Schneider is a German musician, best known as the drummer of the popular metal band "Rammstein". Back in school, he began to play the trumpet, and later switched to drums. Having got acquainted with various styles and directions of heavy music, Schneider realized that he had found his calling.
Biography
Christoph Schneider, also widely known under the stage name "Doom", was born on May 11, 1966 in East Berlin. His father directed one of the largest musical theaters in Germany, the Berlin Opera. And mother taught music. Christoph became the first-born of his parents. And a few years later, his younger sister Constance was born.

Not surprisingly, a boy born in a creative family, from childhood was fond of music. First, he mastered the game of the trumpet, and in his teens he switched to rams. Schneider even wanted to go to music school, but failed exams in all subjects except playing percussion instruments. As a result, he had to master drums on his own, with which he successfully coped.
Career and creativity
In 1984, Schneider graduated from college, after which he decided to go to serve in the German National Guard. After returning from the army, he managed to work as a laborer, a loader, and even work hard at a telecommunications company until he decided to take up music professionally.
In January 1994, Christophe became a member of the metal band "Rammstein". Thanks to colorful shows challenging texts, shocking outfits and, of course, a special style of music, little-known musicians became famous not only in Germany, but throughout the world.

Christophe later said that the music of such groups as "Pink Floyd", "Depeche Mode", "Deep Purple", "Nirvana" and others had a great influence on his work. In addition, Schneider was inspired by the play of Ian Pace, John Bonham, Phil Rudd, Chad Smith and other virtuoso drummers.
