Chris Colfer is an American actor, singer and writer who gained fame after playing the role of Kurt Hammel in the television series "Chorus". Owning the Golden Globe, SAG Awards, and three People's Choice Awards, he was listed on Time’s 100 Most Powerful People of 2011.

Biography
Chris Colfer was born May 27, 1990 in the American city of Clovis, California, in the family of Karin and Timothy Colfer. He has a younger sister, Hannah, who suffers from a severe form of epilepsy.

Kolfer himself underwent surgery on the lymph nodes in childhood, which explains his scars on his neck. It was then, bedridden, that he discovered all the wealth of the world of fiction, which soon grew into a passion for writing and acting.
After graduating from high school, Colfer continued his studies at Clovis East High School. Here the talent of the young man was revealed to the full. He won many debate championships, became the president of the writing club, and also took an active part in the work of the drama club.
