Our predecessors, as in other matters, and we ourselves, always dreamed that there was prosperity in the house. They believed in the so-called "money" signs, which were supposed to enrich the family, and also performed various rituals to attract wealth.

In Russia, among the peasants there was a belief: that wealth, prosperity and happiness reigned in the house, it had to be kept in order. The purity in the Russian hut was watched by the wife of the owner of the house - the keeper of the hearth. At the same time, cleaning had to be done correctly - revenge or washing the floor, starting from the threshold of the dwelling, otherwise, it was believed that wealth could be swiped out of the house and prosperity would leave the peasant's hut.
The main tool used to restore order, the broom had to stand upright, otherwise, the prosperity would bypass the housing side.
Everyone, young and old, knows the Russian proverb: don’t whistle - there will be no money. This proverb was not developed from scratch. In olden times, having heard the robber whistle, a traveler who had at least a small fraction of money with him knew that if robbers rob him, he would be left with nothing. The second explanation of the saying is connected with a gale-force wind, its terrible whistle, which could bring great disasters for the peasant economy.
And most importantly, our ancestors never left piercing and cutting objects on the table for the night, believing that they could cut the spirit - the brownie, the patron of the house, ensuring a happy life in the family.
