Unfortunately, both adults and children in modern society are forced to put up with violence quite often. Moreover, a similar phenomenon can be encountered not only on the street, but also in the family and in educational institutions. You can’t put up with such behavior in relation to yourself, defend yourself and fight for your rights.

Instruction manual
1
Teach your child to know and assert his rights, not to allow violence from either other children or teachers. Introduce them to the basic documents protecting their integrity: the Family Code of the Russian Federation, the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the Convention on the Rights of the Child. Tell the children not to be silent about the physical and psychological violence inflicted on them. They need to tell their parents everything without fear and delay.
2
Tell the children that they cannot go somewhere with strangers, whatever they promise. They should know that such people will even mention the names of their parents and refer to them. Advise your child in such situations to call you back immediately and report the situation.
3
If you are afraid of violence against you in a public place, try to avoid situations that contribute to this. Do not return home alone late at night, be sure to ask you to meet. Avoid dark streets and underpasses. Do not go into the porch or into the elevator with a stranger, it is better to skip it forward and go to the next elevator.
4
Do not drive a car to a stranger, even if it seems to you a pleasant and open person. In case of urgent need to quickly get home, it is better to use the official taxi call. Moreover, it is worth writing down the number of the car and calling a loved one with a warning about your trip right in the presence of the driver.
5
If you still encounter an aggressive person in a deserted place, do not show him your fear and bewilderment. Behave calmly and try to agree, tell him that they will meet you and in the absence will seek. Do not fight for the safety of things; better think about maintaining your own life and health. Nevertheless, try to remember the appearance of the offender, in order to subsequently facilitate the work of the police.
6
Try not to provoke the offender with your behavior and defiant appearance, at least when you get home late.
7
Do not open the door to strangers yourself and teach this to children, and, of course, do not let strangers into your apartment.
