Families with three or more children under the age of 18 receive large status. The right to apply for a number of benefits and subsidies, ranging from compensation for utilities to the provision of their own housing, is enshrined in the Housing Code of the Russian Federation and other regulatory legal acts.

Decide what you want to purchase: an apartment, land or other property, taking advantage of the benefits. Having prepared the necessary documents, contact the authorities leading the waiting lists.

Visit the housing department of the city administration. It is possible that in this institution there are still specialists who are engaged exclusively in registering large families. In each city, this issue is solved individually, so it is better to find out everything in advance.

Write a statement of acceptance for registration, it must be signed not only by you, but also by all family members, at the time of writing, who was 18 years old. Make photocopies of the first page of the passport, as well as where the registration is. Prepare copies of the birth certificates of all children.

Show documents that allow you to attribute your family to large families. As a rule, this certificate is issued by the social security authorities. Get papers confirming your place of residence and other family members by registration, this can be done at the Housing Management Office or, if it concerns the private sector, at the quarterly. Assure the administration with a round seal. It lists all family members, indicates the year of birth of each of them, the date of compilation and the signature of the person who issued the paper.

Bring documents from the contents of which it is clear what incomes you and your family members had for the last year preceding the application for registration (as a rule, if you work, this document becomes a certificate of income of an individual from the place of work in form 2- Personal income tax).

Provide papers that contain information about the composition of the family, the degree of kinship of family members in relation to each other. As such may be: a marriage certificate, birth certificate, divorce, court decisions on the establishment or cancellation of various legal facts.

Collect certificates confirming your right to provide additional square meters. For example, indicating how much of the living space per one member of your family at the time of contacting the administration for registration.

After you are added to the waiting list for the purchase of housing or land, you will immediately be given a notification of the established form with a serial number and the date of the second appeal, during which you will be told how many people have moved the queue. When yours comes up, come and get documents confirming the right to acquire ownership of the property.
