Currently, veterans have the opportunity to improve their living conditions by receiving an apartment or a cash subsidy from the state to purchase it. To do this, you only need to be able to use your legal right.
You will need
- - a document confirming the need to improve housing conditions;
- - documents confirming the status of a veteran;
- - application for improvement of living conditions;
- - other documents (depending on the region).
Instruction manual
1
To get on the waiting list, you will receive a document stating that you are in need of better housing conditions. To do this, write the appropriate application in the prescribed form to the local administration department.
2
In addition, prepare documents confirming your benefits. If you are a disabled person, attach a certificate with the conclusion of a medical and social examination to them. The following documents may be needed: extract from the house book, certificate of family composition, extract from the cadastral passport, plan of the apartment or house.
3
Please note that the procedure for providing apartments for veterans is different. It is possible to allocate a subsidy for the purchase of housing (its size is the sum of the average cost of 1 square meter in this region, multiplied by 36). 36 square meters - the norm of the provided area. For this subsidy, a veteran will be able to purchase housing anywhere in the Russian Federation. He can buy a house or equal in value to this figure, or make a surcharge and make a purchase of a larger apartment. If the purchase of an apartment is carried out at a cost of less than the amount of the certificate, the remaining money is not given to the veteran.
4
The option of buying an apartment at the expense of the municipality is also possible. In this case, its subsequent provision will be carried out under a social contract of employment. If the veteran has not yet used the right to privatize, the received apartment can be registered in ownership.
5
Please note that the subsidy that is allocated for improving housing conditions cannot be spent on anything else. You can get an apartment or a subsidy for its acquisition only once. In case of intentional deterioration of living conditions (registration of various relatives on the living space, etc.), this law does not apply to veterans.
