Instruction manual
1
The train schedule is traditionally placed on a stand next to the conductor’s compartment. However, you can learn it in advance on the Internet.
2
Contact information on the route of the train to the official website of Russian Railways OJSC www.rzd.ru. Select the "Passengers" tab. Then, in the "Train Schedule, Tickets" window, enter the departure and arrival stations: type the first letters of the name of the desired station and select the desired one from the drop-down list. Keep in mind that the names of the stations do not always correspond to the names of the settlements, as they can be supplemented with explanatory signs (for example, “Astrakhan 1” or “Kazan Pass”), and without their indication the search system will not give an answer to the request.
3
Next, indicate the day of departure using the calendar, where you can determine the dates for which ticket sales are open. Check the time of departure if necessary. After that, the button "Buy ticket" is activated. To view the train schedule without acquiring a travel document, uncheck the box “Only with tickets”, which is set by default. Thus, the "Schedule" button will become active, when clicked, the system will offer you options for direct routes to your destination.
4
From the list of trains, select the most suitable for you and click on the cell "Train route". You will receive the necessary information about the upcoming trip: a complete list of stations, the time of arrival, parking and departure of the train from each point along the route.
5
You can also use the services of the site www.tutu.ru. Select the "Trains" tab in the menu, enter the names of the departure and arrival stations, the date of the trip, mark the option you need in the list of trains and go to the "Route" cell. In this system you can find out the travel time at the stations, as well as see the route on the map.
