Often at work we are faced with a situation where it is necessary to indicate the time spent on each task. This helps not only our management to find out what we were doing at one time or another, but also us to plan the time with greater efficiency.
Instruction manual
1
The easiest way to specify the time of work is to write it every day in your notebook. To do this, it is best to have a special notebook or diary. Record the time spent on each work task, even if it seems insignificant. Subsequently, every little thing can make a big difference.
2
If at work you don’t need to fill out the table “Accounting for working hours”, it’s still useful to compile and fill out such a table yourself. The most convenient way to do this is to create a document in Word or a table in Exel. Let's see how to correctly indicate the time of work.
3
Open the table in which you need to specify the time of work. This is usually an exel table. Check out the points to be completed. If there are no specified items, create them yourself, for example, "Work Time", "Project", "Work Completed". Fill in the item "Working hours", writing down in the first column of the first column the amount of time that you spent on solving the first problem. Go to the second column of the second column, in which you need to write down the specific project on which you worked. As a rule, this is a large project, of which your task was a part. The item may be called "Project". In the third column, you need to briefly, in 2-3 words, describe the work you have done. This column may be called "Work Completed."
4
Fill in the table daily so that by the end of the week or month you can analyze its results. So you can see how much time in general you spent on solving a particular problem and, in the future, perhaps adjust the costs of your working time.
5
When filling out this table at work, do not forget to send it to your management in time. You may be required to submit a monthly, weekly, or daily report. Plan the time at which you will be busy filling out the table so that it does not distract you from work.
6
Remember that filling out such a table is useful not only for office employees, who are often forced to fill it out. She also perfectly organizes the time of the representative of any profession.
