Remembering the dead is a matter of honor for the survivors. In peacetime, such events are educational in nature, if well thought out and prepared.

Instruction manual
1
Arrange with the owner of the premises how long the evening of memory will last. Better if you make an agreement in writing. Such prudence will help you out if the person in charge is not in place: it will be easier to solve minor training issues with his subordinates.
2
Divide the evening into several parts. If you have four hours at your disposal, break them down into 40 intervals of 6 minutes, or otherwise, to make planning easier.
3
Think about the semantic content of each interval. At the evening, you can alternate the performances of the participants: a verse of the war years, a song, a story about the hero and his exploit, showing an excerpt from the documentary chronicle of the war years. Add a story about the son of a regiment; reading a letter from the front; display of museum exhibits - items that were used in wartime; remembrance of a war veteran or his children. It will be interesting to show a map with a battle plan; showing photos, etc. Plan the introduction so that the host starts the evening; a moment of silence in memory of the dead; handing flowers to veterans.
4
Write an event script. It is not necessary to write verbatim the performance of the presenter and other participants, but it is necessary to indicate the sequence of actions and the time duration of each. Get a detailed step-by-step plan. If something goes wrong or someone is absent, there should be no pauses due to the fact that the next participant will be ready in 10 minutes. Therefore, plan backup performances - poems, songs, etc. - which can be quickly incorporated into the program. Warn such participants that they perform an important function - “sit on the bench”, as in sports - so that there are no offenses if there is not enough time. Say that there will be another evening, where they will be included in the main program, and others will be made spare.
5
Invite speakers: contact the circles, music schools, museums, public organizations. All this must be done in advance.
6
Designate responsible for the order. At the evening there should be people who know how to quickly contact the administration in unforeseen situations, how to call an ambulance, etc.
7
Control the preparation: make sure that participants do not refuse at the last moment.
eight
Invite listeners from the nearest houses, contact the media to send their representatives. Find out in the city administration if there is an opportunity to invite veterans, bring them in for the evening and take them home.
nine
Hold an event and draw conclusions for the future.
