Every year, on the day of the death of Vladimir Vysotsky, many Russian cities host evenings in memory of this man who has become a symbol of an era. This date is celebrated not only by museum exhibitions and expositions, performances and concerts, sailing regattas are even held in several cities in honor of the artist. Of course, a traditional evening necessarily takes place in Moscow, the city where the poet and bard worked and lived.
On July 25, 2012, Moscow hosted an evening in memory of Vysotsky, which was dedicated to the 32nd anniversary of the poet's death. On the eve of this date on Taganka, in the center-museum of Vysotsky, the thematic exhibition "1972. Leap Summer of Vladimir Vysotsky" was opened. The exhibition was dedicated to the rich and fruitful period of the poet's life, in which many works were created, which became songs, including those that sounded in films, plays and theatrical productions with the participation of Vysotsky.
The performance of director Rashid Tugushev "Paradise apples", created on the basis of the poet’s works, was held in Vysotsky’s house on Taganka that day. And on the stage of the "Theater on Taganka" was shown the concert performance "I, Vladimir Vysotsky
.", which was based on the book of Marina Vlady Vladimir or Interrupted Flight. The new artistic director of the theater Valery Zolotukhin acted as the director of this production.
Friends and colleagues of the artist gathered in order to honor his memory, in the evening of July 26 in the Tagansky park of the capital. The meeting-concert was attended by actors Svetlana Svetlichnaya, Vladimir Zolotukhin, Alexander Peskov, Alexander Turcan, Veniamin Smekhov. At the evening, Nikolai Dupak, who knew Vladimir Vysotsky, who was then the director of the Taganka Theater, made memoirs. The concert was attended by the soloist of the group "Corn" Irina Surina, who became the laureate of the competition for the best performance of songs by Vysotsky.
Central television also hosted an evening in memory of Vysotsky. A documentary film "Vysotsky. Last Year" was shown on Channel One, in which people who knew him very closely talk about the poet: director Alexander Mitta, former director of the Taganka Theater Yuri Lyubimov, son Nikita Vysotsky, first wife Lyudmila Abramova and others. Channel "Russia 1" showed a film by Stanislav Govorukhin "The meeting place cannot be changed, " where the actor played one of the main roles.
