Instruction manual
1
If you call a landline phone in one of the cities of Russia, first dial 0 and wait for a continuous signal. Then press again 0 (this is the prefix for international calls in Ukraine), 7 (Russian code), city code and the number of the subscriber you are calling.
For example, when calling to Yaroslavl, dial 0-0-7-4852 and the phone number.
2
To correctly dial the area code and subscriber number, make sure there are no changes in the dialing format that occur from time to time. For example, in March 2011, the procedure for dialing subscribers to Zhukovsky, Moscow Region, was changed. and some settlements of the Kamchatka region. And for international phone calls to Moscow, two area codes can be used - either 495 or 499. Find out which code is needed from the person you are calling.
3
When calling from a Russian mobile phone, first dial 0 and wait for a continuous signal. Then press 0 again, the mobile operator code (the so-called DEF code) and the seven-digit subscriber number.
For example, if you call a user of Beeline services, dial the following sequence of numbers: 0-0-7-903 (or another code of this operator) and a seven-digit subscriber number.
4
In addition, to call from Ukraine to Russia, you can resort to the services of call points. To use this service, visit the nearest telephone exchange and contact your operator. Do not forget to specify the tariffs for the call you are interested in, since they can be 1.5-2 times higher than the cost of one minute when dialing yourself from a landline telephone.
5
The cost of a call with self-dialing usually depends on what number you are calling (landline or mobile), which city, as well as the duration of the call and the tariff of the operator whose services you use. For example, as of August 2011, when dialing Ukrtelecom’s operator’s number independently, 1 minute of a call to Moscow or St. Petersburg cost UAH 0.90 for individuals, UAH 2 to other cities, and with mobile subscribers - 2.50 UAH.
