You decided to send a registered letter with an inventory of the attachment. It would seem that could be easier? Come to the post office, take and fill out the form. But no! Do not hurry. There is one small nuance.
According to the rules of the Russian Post with a list of attachments, a registered letter cannot be sent. Only valuable! (Order of the FSUE Russian Post on July 6, 2005 No. 261)
You will need
- - the envelope,
- - a pen,
- - forms.
Instruction manual
1
Choose which letter you will send - registered or valuable (if you have the right to choose). In some cases, the procedural legislation of Russia specifically indicates that documents must be sent by registered mail with acknowledgment of receipt. If you have such a case, then the list of documents to be sent should not be drawn up on the form of the Russian Post, but in the form of a cover letter.
2
Collect all the documents that you intend to send by registered mail. Write a cover letter on a separate sheet of paper. In the upper right corner, specify the recipient of the letter. As a heading, write: "On the direction of documents." In the text of the letter, briefly explain the purpose for which you are sending these documents. Below, as applications, list the names of all the documents you send. Put the date, your signature with the decryption and contact details.
Seal the cover letter with all attachments in an envelope. Write the recipient’s detailed address and go to the mail, send all this by registered mail with a notice of delivery (if notification is necessary).
3
Download the attachment list form of Form 107 of the Russian Post (if you still decide to send documents by letter of declared value). Fill out the form in a text editor, and then print in 2 copies. Or by hand at the post office, fill out two standard forms according to the sample. One copy will remain with you, and the second will be sent to the recipient. If necessary, you can also fill out a delivery confirmation form.
Assign the value of documents as desired. The higher the value, the greater compensation you will receive in case of loss of the letter. (But the more you pay for sending it.) Typically, such letters are estimated at 10 p. Individual investments can be left without evaluation, in which case a dash is put in the corresponding column of the inventory.
4
When writing an envelope, in addition to the addresses of the sender and the recipient, also indicate the total cost of investments. Usually they write it in the empty space of the envelope on top. The amount of rubles is indicated in words, pennies - in numbers. Do not seal the envelope with the documents until the postman has checked the attachments and verified the list with his signature and the seal of the department! Get your copy of the inventory and payment receipt from the mail employee.
note
A description of the attachment of form 107 is advisable if you have reason to not trust the recipient of the letter. For example, when you submit a complaint to a dishonest seller. Without an inventory, no one will bother to say that he didn’t receive any claim from you, and that the envelope you sent contained advertising brochures for the SPA salon. The signature and seal of the mail worker on the form of the inventory in this case will be proof of your innocence in court.
In other cases, filling out an inventory of documents to be sent with a cover letter is even more preferable.
